ISPHAHAN ATTRACTIONS(JOUEI BRIDGE)

Jouei means runnel and the bridge is named by it because of a narrow artificial runnel which flows on it. Jouei Bridge connects royal palaces such as Haft Dast Palace and Ayene-Khane in the northern and southern coasts. This bridge was used by royal families, officials, nobles and ambassadors and ordinary people were not allowed to use it.
