Kashan

The historic city of Kashan is one of the most beautiful cities in Iran with 7,000 years of urbanization. and is one of the most beautiful cities in Iran.

Kashan is divided into two parts, mountainous and desert.  Also, main towns around Kashan are Qamsar and Abyaneh, which attract many visitors every year . The nearby town of Niasar features a man-made cave and fireplace of historical interest.

Kashan is internationally famous for manufacturing carpets, silk and other textiles.

 

Fin Garden in Kashan:

Fin Garden (Baghe Fin) is a historical Persian garden from Safavid period, which  contains Fin Bath, where Amir Kabir, the Qajarid chancellor, was murdered by an assassin sent by King Nasereddin Shah in 1852.

Bath include: entrance, cabin, water, hangar, cleaning room and dressing room.

 

Tabatabaei House:

Tabatabaei House is a historic house museum with a total area about 5,000 square meters includes 40 rooms, four basements, four courtyards, three wind tower and gardens. It was built about 1880, during  the reign of the Qajar dynasty for Tabatabaei  family with  features of Iran’s traditional residential architecture and decorated with stone reliefs, stucco, and stained glass.

Building consists:

  • Public area which called exterior or Biruni in Farsi
  • Private quarters which called Interior or andaruni in Farsi

 

 

Borujerdi house:

Historic Borujerdi house museum was built in 1857 by architect Ustad Ali Maryam for the bride of Borujerdi who was from the Tabātabāei family.

Building consists:

  • Public area which called exterior or Biruni in Farsi
  • Private quarters which called Interior or andaruni in Farsi

Including a courtyard with a fountain pool and a two balcony.

The historic Boroujerdi house was announced as the premier UNESCO choice in 2015 and 2016 for the popularity of the tourist attraction.

 

 

 

Sialk Hills:

Sialk is the name of the first central Iranian civilization in Kashan, southwest of the city. The ancient silk enclosure located in the Fin of Kashan is about 7,000 years old. The Silk Hill was actually a sanctuary of ancient people made of clay and pottery.
